I’m Egidius Heerkens, BSc PhD. I have been a biomedical scientist for over 10 years, and also provide (digital) illustrations, graphs, powerpoint presentations, animations, theses and reports for academics and students. I grew up in Tilburg, the Netherlands, and art, drawing, painting, intaglio (printmaking) and graphics were a big part of my life from an early age. I completed a course in art at the “Willem II College” in Tilburg in 1990 and continued to teach myself digital media and graphic design during the digital / internet revolution which exploded during my time as a student and professional working in biomedical science. I have recently become freelance to provide you with professional but affordable illustrations and animations, for concise & crystal clear presentations, documents, theses and reports.
