Hi I’m Egidius Heerkens, BSc PhD. I have been a biomedical scientist for over 10 years, and also involved in providing academics and students (digital) illustrations, graphs, powerpoint presentations, animations, theses and reports. I grew up in Tilburg, the Netherlands, and art, drawing, painting, intaglio (printmaking) and graphics have always been a big part of my life from an early age. I completed a course in art at the “Willem II College” in Tilburg in 1990 and have continued to self-teach digital media and graphic design during the digital / internet revolution, whilst a student in biomedical sciences. I have recently become freelance to provide you with professional but affordable illustrations, animations, concise & crystal clear presentations and proofreading, editing and writing of documents such as theses and reports.
